When to Visit

Our fields bloom from May through September, with peak color typically in June, July, and early August. Every week brings new flowers to discover, from early-season sweet peas and ranunculus to summer’s sunflowers and zinnias.

June: Delphinium, bachelor’s buttons, yarrow

July–August: Zinnias, sunflowers, celosia, cosmos

Sandhill Bloomers is located just outside Wray, Colorado, tucked into the rolling prairie that gives our farm its peaceful charm and colorful blooms. Whether you’re coming from a nearby town or making a road trip out of it, the drive is scenic, easy, and worth every mile.

  • Cell service can get spotty on the outskirts—save directions ahead of time if possible.

  • We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early for events or U-Pick visits to settle in and take in the scenery.
