Welcome! We are April and Kaci Oestman, a mom/daughter team growing beautiful specialty cut flowers and other farm products on the peaceful prairie and sandhills of northeastern Colorado. Using gentle farming practices, we strive to be devoted stewards of approximately half an acre of quality annuals and perennials available to the public, through retail and wholesale markets.
Caregivers of six adorable alpacas, one guinea, four cats, and a very people-loving Aussie named Dixie-dawg, we welcome visitors to the farm, asking that you call ahead to schedule an appointment, to ensure someone is here to greet you.
This flower thing that we do and love is one of our greatest experiences in life (next to being a grandma and auntie ; ). Just seeing the smiles on faces of people who receive a bouquet, whether it be through the Farmers Market in St Francis, KS, CSA subscriptions, a special order of a customized bouquet, or a visit to the farm for a U-pick bouquet, is absolutely our jam.
We have had the great honor of meeting pretty amazing people and have enjoyed hearing their stories of what flowers mean to them, while forging meaningful friendships along the way.
Our mission is to nurture both souls and soil, through the beauty and magic of flowers and farm experiences, helping to connect folks to unique (and some not so unique : ) flowers that are grown with nurturing care, hand picked especially for them in a historical agricultural area.
